If you are using an Alpine iDA-X series head unit see this before ordering.
2  If you have an Alpine head unit skip to step 3.  If you DO NOT have an Alpine head unit, I suggest you buy the Modifry Adapter Harness.  What's it look like?  Why do I need it?

3  If this is for an Alpine head unit, buy either the Modifry Adapter Harness (above) or consider the Plug-n-Play harness for a "no splicing" install.  Do NOT buy both - you only need one.   
Buy the correct Plug-n-Play harness to match the DCI you purchased (IR or Wired).

The PnP Harness is only for Alpine
The absurdly large message is for those that continue to buy the Alpine-only harness for Pioneer or Kenwood head units
