The S2000 top is vinyl but both the vinyl and fabric products provide ultimate protection against fading and deterioration, the only difference is how they look:
   Vinyl Protectant - Provides a deep, black, like-new appearance. Water beads and rolls off in larger puddles.     
   Fabric Protectant - Slightly shiny and not as black as the vinyl spray.  Water beads are extremely small - a light rain sometimes looks like ice has formed on the top.
